These socks are my love note to you my lovely sock knitters. Two things remained a constant for me in this past year of lots of changes. Knitting socks and my morning cups of coffee. Those first sips from a warm mug are always so soothing, just as I hope you find knitting these socks to be.
Materials:
- Size US 2 needles (2.50 mm) with 32” cable to work in magic loop. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
-Cable needle or DPN
-Small crochet hook
-1 st marker to mark pattern; 1 more to mark BOR if you are using 9” circs
-Progress keeper or bulb markers for tracking progress
-Darning needle
-Scissors
Designer Note: I enjoy working my socks up in magic loop and have written the pattern that way. But this would be an easy pattern to use 9” needles.
Yarn Recommendation:
Sample shown knit in Yarnbrary Classic Fingering 100g/463yds SWM “The Maple Sugar Party” in the Large size.
Any Fingering weight yarn and 20g/ 90yds coordinating mini
This pattern would look great in any tonal, solid or speckled yarns. The sample yarn is a superwash Merino with a nylon blend for added stability.
Gauge:
9 sts and 12 RNDS per inch in stockinette in the round.
Sizing:
- Small (56 sts) with finished foot circumference of 6”
- Medium (64 sts) with finished foot circumference of 7”
- Large (72 sts) with finished foot circumference of 9”
